Defence Science Journal, a quarterly publication of the Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Government of India, is published by the Defence Scientific Information & Documentation Centre (DESIDOC), Delhi. It is brought out in the months of January, April, July and October.

The Journal publishes research papers in various disciplines of basic and applied sciences and technology which by and large lead to tangible results for direct Defence applications. Review papers, short communications, research notes and scientific correspondence having a bearing on Defence are accepted for publication in the Journal.

DSJ Full Text on CD-ROM

The CD of Defence Science Journal contains full text research papers on different subjects which were published in DSJ during 1950-2005 and contains 2024  articles. This is the full text database of a premier DRDO publication, brought out by DESIDOC, for the world scientist community in general, and those involved in Defence-related R&D in particular.

The DSJ database contains complete bibliographic details like title, author, abstract, keyword, year of publication, etc. along with full-text images of the articles.

The Database is searchable with an easy-to-use advanced retrieval software developed by DESIDOC. It allows search by title, author, keyword, abstract, year of publication, etc. The full-text images are displayed in portable document format [PDF] for easy viewing and printing.
