Present set up of AR&DB panels deal with
many issues of analysis. However, the R & D efforts related to CAD, CAM, and Rapid
prototyping, Rapid Tooling and similar such time compression technologies (TCT's)
are not directly covered by any existing panel. Promotion of a panel on Aerospace
production technologies is sensitizing agencies dealing with the production aspects. |

and prototyping of aerospace systems such as aircrafts, satellites, missiles etc.

To develop new technologies, which will lead to reduced time
and costs for design, prototyping production and repair of aerospace systems. |

To co-ordinate with specialist panels dealing with the design
of aerospace systems in to the actual development of prototyping and production
as required by agencies like ADA, HAL, DRDO, ISRO, etc., | | |

To promote consciousness of value analysis & value engineering
in development & manufacturing processes to enable availability of quality products
at affordable prices. | | |
